Organisation Description
Reform Africa Uganda is a social enterprise that transforms plastic waste into durable, sustainable products like bags, school accessories, and more. The organisation aims to address both waste management and environmental sustainability while empowering disadvantaged youth and women in Uganda through vocational training and job creation. Reform Africa seeks to create a cleaner environment while promoting social and economic development.
Project Scope
This project contributes to Reform Africa’s mission by identifying and securing strategic partnerships, increasing visibility, and expanding its market presence.
Developing Reform Africa’s business strategy to target NGOs, corporate partners, and environmental organisations.
Conducting market research to identify growth opportunities and analyse competitor activities.
Refining the organisation's value proposition for stakeholders and potential investors.
Creating a database of potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
Drafting business proposals tailored to secure funding and partnerships.
Supporting the development of promotional materials for outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Project Outcomes
Write a comprehensive market research report that identifies key partnership opportunities, trends in sustainability, and competitor insights.
Identify at least five strategic partnerships aligned with Reform Africa’s growth goals.
Draft two business proposals to attract funding or establish partnerships.
Create one marketing presentation that clearly communicates Reform Africa’s impact and objectives.
Deliver weekly reports with updates on progress, challenges, and completed milestones.
Internship Requirements
Research and Analysis: Strong skills in market research and competitor analysis.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling business proposals.
