Organisation Description

Kosmotive Rwanda is a social enterprise dedicated to improving maternal and child health in Rwanda through innovative and accessible health information. The organisation focuses on empowering women and communities by providing reliable health resources, support, and education. Kosmotive’s mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare access by using digital platforms, content development, and community engagement to inform, educate, and support maternal health and well-being.

Project Scope

The Content Development Assistant intern will focus on creating high-quality, informative content for Kosmotive’s digital platforms, supporting their mission to educate and raise awareness about maternal and child health. The role will involve researching health-related topics, creating blog posts, and developing multimedia content.

• Research and write articles or blog posts about maternal and child health in Rwanda.

• Assist with developing content for Kosmotive’s social media platforms, including graphics and short videos.

• Help in creating and updating content for the Kosmotive website.

• Support the creation of educational materials for workshops and community programmes.

Project Outcomes

• Created at least 5 blog posts or articles related to maternal and child health.

• Developed 10 social media posts, including visuals and copy.

• Contributed to the creation of 2 educational materials for community programmes.

• Increased website traffic by contributing to the content strategy.

Internship Requirements

• Strong writing and research skills.

• Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).

• Interest in maternal and child health topics.

• Basic knowledge of social media marketing.

• Creativity and attention to detail.
