Project Scope
The Content Development Assistant at TGED Foundation will play a key role in enhancing our communication efforts by creating and curating engaging content for various platforms.
The assistant will develop blog posts, social media content, and newsletters that highlight our environmental initiatives and successes.
This project will directly support outreach efforts, helping to increase awareness and engagement with the organisation’s mission.
The intern will gain valuable experience in content creation and digital marketing while contributing to the visibility and impact of TGED Foundation's programmes.
Project Outcomes
Create and publish at least four blog posts that highlight TGED Foundation's key initiatives and impact stories.
Develop a social media content calendar and produce at least twelve posts across various platforms to increase engagement and followers.
Assist in designing and distributing three newsletters to keep our supporters informed and engaged with our activities
Compile a content repository with at least 20 curated images, quotes, and stories for future use in TGED Foundation's communication materials.
Internship Requirements
Content Creation Experience: Previous experience in writing, blogging, or digital content creation is preferred. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is an asset.
Writing and Editing Skills: Strong written communication skills with attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to adapt tone and style to TGED Foundation’s brand.
Digital Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of social media strategies and digital marketing practices, including SEO, audience engagement, and content scheduling.
Graphic Design/Multimedia Skills: Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) or multimedia editing software is a plus, though not mandatory.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, as well as familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite) is desirable.
