Marketing Assistant – Reform Africa, Uganda
Organisation Description
Reform Africa Uganda is a social enterprise that transforms plastic waste into durable, sustainable products like bags, school accessories, and more. The organisation aims to address both waste management and environmental sustainability while empowering disadvantaged youth and women in Uganda through vocational training and job creation. Reform Africa seeks to create a cleaner environment while promoting social and economic development.
Project Scope
The Marketing Assistant will support Reform Africa’s marketing strategy by developing campaigns to increase brand visibility and promote the organisation’s mission and products.
Develop at least 1 comprehensive marketing campaign to promote Reform Africa’s products and mission.
Create 5 engaging marketing materials, such as graphics, videos, or infographics, for use across social media platforms.
Track and report on the success of the marketing campaign by monitoring engagement metrics and presenting at least 1 report with recommendations for improvement.
Assist in the development of 1 newsletter aimed at increasing donor and customer engagement.
Project Outcomes
Launched 1 marketing campaign to promote Reform Africa’s products and mission.
Created 5 marketing materials for social media and outreach.
Produced 1 report on the marketing campaign’s performance and recommendations.
Developed 1 newsletter to improve engagement with donors and customers.
Internship Requirements
Experience in marketing, branding, or digital media.
Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
